  • A displacement of image. The top hand holds an image of a concrete copy of Tlaloc, the Aztec god of rain in Coatlinchian; a town in Mexico from where the original monolith was taken. In the background is the National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City and the original Tlaloc. The bottom hand reverses this.
